Hello! I hope your year has started well and with great hope and expectation in a big God!
As I reflect on the past year and look forward to the new,
I realize that the only thing constant in life is change. People change, churches change, technology changes, even we change. Everything seems to be changing. But one thing that never changes is the powerful message of Jesus Christ.
So in the midst of an ever changing world, how do we reach out and communicate the timeless message of Jesus?
I’m realizing that the way we communicate his message can and must change to reach a world that needs to hear this powerful, life-changing message. Our methods need to be constantly retweeked and retooled for our ever-changing culture, while staying true to the good news of Jesus Christ. That’s what we’ll be talking about at Reach 2012!
Our prayer is that right now, you’ll be making plans with your team and starting to budget money to join us at Reach 2012, the Southeast Vineyard Leadership Conference in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina. We’ll be going back to Ridgecrest Conference Center, where we will stay on site together, eat together, have play time together and enjoy those great big scoops of Ridgecrest ice cream!
At this conference, we’ll be hearing from our future National Director, Phil Strout, along with other speakers who will challenge us to dream again. Together we’ll dig down and have our faith renewed to reach our unreached neighbors through church planting, birthing new ministries and personally becoming a “reaching” leader.
